Free OPD

Free OPD will be provided by the team of Doctors of Smt. Urmila Devi Ayurvedic College & Hospital on daily basis from September 02, 2021 at Shiv Mandir, Vill. Patiarian, Una Road, Hoshiarpur. Our team of specialists will be available from 10 am to 1 pm.

Sanskrit Saptah

As per directions of National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, Sanskrit Saptah. was celebrated by Deparment of Sanskrit & Samhita from 19th August, 2021. to 25th August, 2021. Various activities like Shloka Gayan, Sanskrit Songs, Poem Recitation, Declamation, Skit on Kshapnak Katha was performed. Students actively participated in this event and learned the basics of divine language SANSKRIT.

Charak Jayanti

Charak Jayanti-Worship of Charak Samhita on 13th August, 2021 was done and a webinar was conducted by Ayurveda Samhita & Sidhant department on 7th August,2021 in which our respected Dr. B.K. Kaushik,Vice-Chancellor, Guru Ravidas Ayurved University. Punjab, Hoshiarpur was guest of honour. 180 plus delegates attended this webinar which is also available on our youtube channel i.e. SUDAC HOSHIARPUR.

World environment day

World environment day celebrated by planting sapling in Agad Vatika by Agad Tantra department. All the students and faculty members were present in this occasion.

No tobacco day

On the occasion of No tobacco day, slogan and poem competition was conducted by Agad Tantra department in which students of B.A.M.S 3rd year participated. Winners are announced under judgment of Dr. Deepika Bhandari & group.

Charak Jayanti

Charak Jayanti was celebrated at Smt Urmila Devi Ayurvedic College of Medical Sciences and Hospital on Monday. A seminar was also organized on the occasion of the usefulness of Ayurveda for human society. A plantation drive was also held to mark the celebrations.

Breast Feeding Day

A seminar was conducted with collaboration of District Health Department Hoshiarpur on 2 Aug. to celebrate Breast Feeding Week and to promote among the students, importance of family-friendly policies to enable breastfeeding and help parents nurture and bond with their children in early life, when it matters most. Mrs. Amrit Singh (ADC) graced the occasion with her benign presence.

Free Medical Camp

A free Medical camp was conducted by Smt Urmila Devi Ayurvedic College of Medical Sciences and Hospital at Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Hoshiarpur. Students and staff members were checked for common diseases and were given the free medicine.

National Dengue Day

A seminar was conducted to celebrate the National Dengue Day on May 16, 2018 by Smt Urmila Devi Ayurvedic College of Medical Sciences and Hospital. A team of doctors from Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur were present during the seminar.
